Today I thought of you.

There was something different, I have heard it all before. "Time heals "and" life goes on and" there is hope over each and every hill" I never really understood the stepping stones of life. I tried to understand the woes of the people passing by and I guess I never really will except for the fact we all will have our time.
Today I thought of you and many things rang true and yes I was in denial, I wanted my skies to always be blue. But this day was unlike the others, no tears rolled down my cheek for I have written a chapter and turned the page like a brand new dream....

It was an off the wall day in Mammoth Park Westmoreland Pa. We survived the rain and wind to meet many of you who came out to enjoy the day and shop. We were located right on the lake the scenery was beautiful and luckily we didn't end up like a few vendors in the lake.

This weekend coming up we will be in Beaver County for Garrison days. It is a one day event on June 12 and If it is anything like previous Garrison Days we will have a great turn out. Cross your fingers for sunshine. Working on some new poetry and the ever so popular emu and arnica. Hope to see you there soon!

2009 can you believe we finished another year of events. I 'd like to take this time to thank a special friend. I don't think I'd be here with out him and I mean that in the literal sense. As he would say "I am behind you when you need a push, in front of you when you need a pull and beside you . " 'd like to thank Anne and Pat Poleto for not only believing in me, guiding me, and God knows when i was ready to give up and give in being here for me, in every sense of the word here.

I think about the characters and the why of it all. Easy to keep the door closed, not to look through or walk through, but life is about taking a chance and believing in oneself. I really don't how to show my appreciation other than giving them a platform in which everyone will know how important they have been.

Thank You for helping me to see the bigger picture.

We have two events left for 2009 one being held at Avonworth HS for the twentieth year on December 5th from 10 to 3 and the last event for 2009 will be a local event in waynesburg at the fairgrounds sponsored by Greensboro Assoc.

In review, both vendors and customers at the farmers market have enriched my life beyond all expectations. Bringing the warmth of wonderful memories through shared experiences. A great big thank you to Carol for her wonderful job in organizing and bring together a wonderful group in the local area.

I also like to do a short cap on the years events. The season went ever so quickly and I basked in the joy and magic of the stories that were shared throughout the season. I appreciate everyone who stops to say hello and those who have made it a part of their life to use Autumn's products. There are so many people that I want to thank but the one that comes to mind is Stella, there is something unique when one soul stands on the same platform in both understand and acceptance. A big thank you to everyone from Norwin including Stella who may the day a total joy.

With the end of a season, we look forward to the beginning of a new one. We will have some of the events where you expect to find us. We will be in the Penn State area on Memorial day 2010 , May 3rd at the Wynham hotel in Gettysburgh and as the events are schedule I will try to post in a list.

I am far from ready for the busy season that is quickly approaching. Focused and not, as I try to prepare. Up at 4 am I found the weather perfect around 70 with very little humidity, and quite as everyone was sleeping. I managed to get some labeling finished and place in jars some home grown herbal scrubs.
I was hoping to work on a few paintings and my writing, but there just never seems to be enough time in a day, so something has to give. Either way I am ready for a fun season and hope again to meet up with some old friends and new.
We have added new products to our line, invested in the wonders of Emu oil and have created even more products with homegrown herbs, pesticide and herbicide free.
Where at Mylan Park in West Virginia Saturday for the great Rib Fest and looks to be wonderful weather.

We are already into the middle of June, hard to believe that we have been over the road for months. Preparing for the memorial day event, I think I am over anxious. As I pack I keep saying just one more, one more poem, one more skincare product, just one more. This event is a little further than any I have traveled previously for one day that is. Gas prices soaring inflates the overhead in a small business. I remind myself that there is always something special about each event that is not connected to the monetary value, but as rewarding as those momemts are they don't pay the bills, so simply that my overhead is higher, I wonder if the economy will alter the outcome of sales.
I'm wrapping things up about now, labeling my last few bottles of lotion and telling myself no more that what I have will be enough. Redding up and trying to organize, I gazed out the diningroom window at the sunshine. The weather is beautiful and for travel I know that I am already blessed.
I can't seem to stop my mind from wondering where your at, what your doing and if your day is going well.Wanting to feel your arms around me and rest. Funny thing is I am up early every morning and this morning when I needed to be up, I just seem to not be able to move, five more minutes I kept saying to myself.
I went to feed the ducks, and found one of the female ducks is injured,seems she broke a leg and can't get to the feed so I took feed down to her. I always hate when something like that happens she is now even more vulnerable to predators.
I am getting ready to formatt some poetry and I just needed this time to connect to you and relax a few, bring my body and mind into some kind of balance. Though I feel like yes and no that I am calming down a bit and not.
If there is away to allow you to feel my love today, then may the heavens reach out and embrace you with my love. May the sun remind your heart of the warmth we share and the skies of blue drape your day with happiness and joy...be well

There are many kinds of expression love and even lust. I have compared it to the candy stores of the past, you know what you want behind that glass case but you know what you can buy. Sometimes I am flustered by my own emotions, not that they control but that they pull at these strings deep inside. I have had a chance to experience many emotions in this current chapter of my life, so much so that I have been a spirit of all ages and with out the minds clarity I allowed my heart to lead me. It is the missing pieces of life that are found and laid in place. At sixteen your heart is open and your learning but your leery and you step without thinking. I remember my first kiss it was a one time date and he walked me to the door, I think he was as nervous as I was he pulled me close still holding my hand and he gave me this really quick kiss. We went to different schools and I never had a second date with him, as someone else was stepping quickly into my life. The next date the kiss was deadly filled with passion, I remember being without thought, this is just to good and I remembering thinking no, no.... yesssss.
There was a country song that came out at the time " I never promised you a rose garden" but ouch I didn't expect all those thorns without the rose. So much for stepping back as I move forward I feel my heart expanded from the love that I have been given. Magical and wonderful and yet there so much I want to do and experience and I ask that the Lord guide me. One look at the dreadful news on the front page and I am more aware of why I write about love and romance. This is what I have been given the gift to do, to give a platform to love, to share and allow it to grow and circle the world with what I feel each morning in my heart. There is such beauty and such power in love that it has the ability to overcome all obstacles. In a humorous way we joke about the calender men and the truth is that those who cross our path bring with them lessons and a magic all of their own. Without the experience we would be empty inside, a vessel without a message. The words are a small representation of how important the various stages of life have been...

Here we are in the middle of winter dreaming of spring. Everything is completely covered in the hollow with a white blanket of snow and flurries are in the air. Temperatures are brrrr cold. Positive thinking as racing to the month of May. On May 26 th it is confirmed that i'll be at the Historic Boalsburg pennsylvania memorial day celebration. Event is from 9 to 5 and we are hoping for a sun shining day but will be there rain or shine... prefers shine. lol
If you have not ever been to pennsylvania you will find the state college area to be one of the most beautiful. Breath taking hills and the beauty of spring in full session. There are many things to enjoy in the area , rich in culture, mountains resorts, musuems filled with rich historical charm of pa area. Gift shops and of course special events like the one I will be attending.

The Hawk

Skies of gray without a hint of the rays of sunlight and the stillness of the trees lacked the vitality and color of the the previous season. No harsh winds or snow visit as the unseasonal weather tempted me to stay a little longer outdoors. On my routine visit to feed the chickens, I caught sight of a hawk perched high up in the tree. I stood there in amazement staring as he spread his wings wide preparing for flight. The natural balance of nature and a close up view of the biological food chain. All of us are dependent upon another person or another thing for our very survival, at least in a healthy social setting. This was different, the hawk gliding through the trees as if to command the air around him, beautiful and free. Fearing one of his few threats, man.

The Hawk

The hawk perched awaiting its prey allowed me relatively close as it did not appear afraid. You have to appreciate its stance in the chain, as it only kills what it needs to sustain. It doesn't fight for money, religion or for land , there's allot to be taught to the angered man. Nature natural selection is survival of the strong, as a people I believe we are doing something wrong.

The holiday season brings with it reminders of the Christmas's of past. Those warm memories that you want to freeze to hold forever, it is what makes saying goodbye so difficult, I much more prefer hello! But there are those who have entered my life and left in one way or another to only leave behind an emptiness in my heart. Eager to hold close only warm thoughts and chase away the sadness that cast shadows dark and dreary over the day. Then I quickly jumped today and what the future brings. My father never said goodbye he always said "I'll be seeing ya." We struggle with a lot but I guess nothing is worse then and ending, I prefer to look at each, day, month and year as a chapter of a wide range of experiences.
The holiday table will be set with the same fine china, crystal and foods, but many less plates will be needed as time moves on. My 3rd born said its the societies demands upon us that set expectations that are not necessarily capable of being filled.

It has been a busy morning, it almost feels like the heart of winter and I have been keeping on the move to keep warm. I moved some of my favorite plants in from the greenhouse and I sit typing surrounded by lush green that reminds me of the struggle that awaits as we push the season looking forward to another spring. Upbeat as I feel there is aura of good intentions surrounding me, as if I can and will win the battles that stand to confront me each day. On a positive note I feel some what in control of today, for tomorrow indeed haunts at the gate of trickery.
The fesitvals have been colorful with a cast of many characters. Everyone of us is given a test to see how well we overcome the surging battles. It is our strength and desire to hold on to this exterior shell that spans the outreach with the mind. The infusion of positive vibes from everyone you contact brings a certain amount of energy that builds into a strength that can overcome anything. Simply put we are born to die, at some moment we will reach our destination and meet with our maker. The importance is in the travels and how well we packed for the journey.
Our desires sometimes weight heavy upon the path of what is and only upon acceptance of reality can we define our own existence. I have felt and uplifting of the darkness that occassionally weighs down the day. In many instances I felt the bonding of our souls stengthen my ability as I felt your energy inspire the various strands of hope. I can see over the mountains, I have crossed the waters cold and rough and we have surfaced to tackle once more all that is and all that will be. For I am happy to have reached out and felt your hand reaching back more then once.

I have done it again and I have over booked, we will at 2 locations on the 2oth of October. Though the books and skin care line will be available at the Pittsburgh Shriner's off of Route 28, I will not be there to personally meet everyone. But as it's been in the past it looks to be a great event with a huge turn out and many vendors with great products. We have not slighted our product line and are offering many choices from greeting cards to matted poetry and organic herbal skincare products that enhance the body and soul.

I will be at the Greene County museum in Pennsylvania October 2oth and 21st. Creating fine products on location and educating you as you become a better consumer for your personal skincare line.
Writing is my life line and through I have been able to reach out and feel the touch back of love and life in the living. I will be happy to personally sign copies of my book Dear kimblake, a journey of awareness. Dear Kimblake, It's not always black and white sometimes we have to add a little color.
Frazzled I am looking forward to the weekend and I am heartened by by the those who have continued to encourage and travel the cobbled path that finds us occassionally detouring.

Wow! The summer season is coming to an end, but we are still excited at the prospect of Autumn. With it comes a wide range of events and I will try to list as I organize.
Labor day I will be at Northmoreland Park in Westmoreland Pennsylvania. Come out and enjoy in the Labor United Celebration. A wide range of events will be held from great music, to childrens activities, rides and of course the arts and crafts festival. Always a huge turn out so come early and spend the day or spend the weekend enjoying the scenic hills of Pennsylvania.
